THIBODAUX, La. — The E.D. White Cardinals are finding their stride at the right time.

The Cardinals captured their third consecutive victory with an impressive 49-7 win over the Assumption Mustangs on Friday night during Homecoming festivities.

E.D. White entered the matchup riding a wave of momentum following victories over South Terrebonne and A.J. Ellender. The Cardinals continued that success against Assumption, adding another convincing district win as the regular season approaches its final stretch.

The victory improved E.D. White’s record to 3-5 on the season, highlighting the Cardinals’ recent success as they continue building momentum heading into the final weeks of regular-season play.

With three straight wins, E.D. White has established a positive rhythm and will look to carry that momentum into its remaining games.

The Cardinals will look to extend their winning streak when they travel to face South Lafourche on October 30.
