E.D. White faced a tough test Friday night as Dutchtown came to Thibodaux and left with a 35-7 victory over the Cardinals.

Dutchtown set the tone with a physical style of football and kept E.D. White from finding a consistent rhythm offensively. The Cardinals battled throughout the night but were unable to overcome the Griffins’ early momentum.

The loss dropped E.D. White to 0-2 on the young season, giving the Cardinals plenty to build on as they move forward. E.D. White will look to bounce back in Week 3 when it hosts Hahnville on Yockey Bernard Field at Harvey Peltier Memorial Stadium.
