JONES, Okla. — The Jones Longhorns made sure their 2026 Homecoming night would be remembered for generations, putting on an absolute clinic in a historic 80-0 demolition of the Webster Warriors on Friday night, September 25, 2026.
The blowout victory at Tim Wallace Memorial Stadium served as the 3A District 4 opener, and the Longhorns utilized every bit of the home-field advantage to put together a flawless performance in all three phases of the game. With the win, Jones improved its record to 3-1 on the season, while Webster fell to 1-3.
An Unstoppable Avalanche
From the opening kickoff, the Longhorns suffocated any hope of a Webster upset. The Jones offense moved the ball at will, scoring on nearly every possession of the first half while the first-string units were on the field. Explosive plays through the air and a relentless ground attack kept the chains moving and the scoreboard spinning.
By the time the homecoming royalty was crowned at halftime, the game was well out of reach. The dominant cushion allowed the Jones coaching staff to empty the bench in the second half, giving younger roster players valuable varsity experience without dropping the defensive intensity.
Defensive Masterclass
While the 80 points scored will capture the headlines, the Jones defense put together an equally impressive masterclass. The Longhorns pitched a complete shutout, completely erasing the Webster offense from the game plan.
The Warriors struggled to find any positive yardage, suffocated by a ferocious Jones defensive front that lived in the backfield. Turnovers, forced punts, and quick three-and-outs defined every Webster possession, preventing the visitors from ever crossing midfield or establishing a rhythm.
Looking Ahead
The definitive victory sent a resounding statement to the rest of 3A District 4, proving that the Longhorns are primed for a deep postseason run. Jones successfully carried this momentum into the following week, securing another decisive win against Catoosa to push their record to 4-1. For Webster, the daunting task remains to regroup and find answers as district play intensifies.
